Cooking Instructions
- 1
Caramelize the Onions
Slice the onion thinly. In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add the onions and sauté until golden brown and caramelized, about 15-20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- 2
Prepare the Burger Patties
Divide the ground beef into two equal portions (about 4 ounces each). Form them into loose balls without packing them too tightly.
- 3
- 4
Add Cheese
Immediately after flipping, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- 5
Toast the Buns
In another skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Place the brioche buns cut-side down and toast until golden brown.
- 6
Assemble the Burgers
Spread the house-made burger sauce on the bottom bun. Add a layer of shredded lettuce, followed by the tomato slices. Place the two cheese-covered patties on top, then add the caramelized onions. Top with the other half of the bun.
