Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until combined, then divide into two equal portions and shape into patties.

2

Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

3

Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

4

Toast the Buns

While the cheese melts, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

5

Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place lettuce, the cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

6

Serve

Serve the cheeseburgers with fries on the side.
