Burger Ingredients

Method

Burger Preparation

1

Prepare the Caramelized Red Onion

In a skillet over medium heat, add sliced red onions and a bit of oil. Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are soft and caramelized. Set aside.

2

Make the Burger Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, dried herbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined. Form into 2 burger patties.

3

Cook the Burgers

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

4

Add Cream Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place cream cheese on top of each patty to melt slightly.

5

Assemble the Burger

On each burger bun, place a lettuce leaf, the cooked patty with melted cream cheese, caramelized red onions, and a slice of tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.

6

Serve

Serve immediately with fries on the side.
