Egg Roll Filling

Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Filling

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.

2

Add Vegetables

Stir in the shredded cabbage, carrots, green onions, garlic, and ginger. Cook for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

3

Season the Mixture

Add soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to the mixture. Stir well and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.

4

Wrap the Egg Rolls

Take an egg roll wrapper and place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center. Fold the bottom over the filling, then fold the sides in, and roll tightly. Seal the edge with a little water.

5

Heat Oil for Frying

In a deep pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

6

Fry the Egg Rolls

Carefully place the egg rolls in the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

7

Serve

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
