Method
Preparation of Chicken Tenders
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch wide. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- 2
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Coat each chicken strip in flour, shaking off the excess. Dip into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat with bread crumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- 4
Heat Olive Oil
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- 5
Cook the Chicken Tenders
Add the breaded chicken strips to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
Preparation of Fries
- 6
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips for fries.
- 7
Season the Fries
In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil and salt until evenly coated.
- 8
Bake or Fry the Fries
For baked fries, preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy, flipping halfway. For fried fries, heat oil in a deep fryer and fry the potato strips until golden brown and crispy.
