Cheeseburger Ingredients

Method

Cheeseburger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a bowl, season the ground local brisket with salt and black pepper. Mix gently and form into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and add cooking oil. Once hot, place the patty on the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until browned.

  3. 3

    Flip and Add Cheese

Flip the patty and cook for another 3-4 minutes. In the last minute of cooking, place your choice of cheese (Swiss, American, or Cheddar) on top of the patty to melt.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger bun on the skillet for a minute if desired. Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of the bun. Top with lettuce and tomato slices, then place the top half of the bun on.

  5. 5

    Serve

Cut the cheeseburger in half if desired and serve hot with your choice of sides.
