Prepare the glass
Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass, then dip the rim into salt to coat it evenly.

Mix the drink
In a shaker, combine tequila, lime juice, and triple sec. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.
