Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Wash and slice the zucchini, tomato, and onion. Tear off the leaves of the bibb lettuce.
- 2
Make the Patties
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions (about 6 oz each) and shape them into patties. Season with salt and pepper.
- 3
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain.
- 4
Cook the Patties
In the same skillet, cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Place a slice of American cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- 5
Toast the Rolls
While the patties are cooking, cut the potato rolls in half and toast them lightly on another skillet or in a toaster.
- 6
Assemble the Burgers
Spread burger sauce on the bottom half of each toasted roll. Add the lettuce, then the burger patty with melted cheese, followed by bacon, zucchini, onion, and tomato. Top with the other half of the roll.
- 7
Serve
Serve the Butcher's Burger with tater tots or a simple salad on the side.
