Peppadews and Glaze

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Belly

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the pork belly until it's crispy and golden brown, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool, then chop into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Combine the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the blue crabmeat, chopped pork belly, Cajun spices, and Boursin cheese. Mix gently until well combined.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Peppadews

Carefully remove the tops of the peppadew peppers and scoop out any seeds or membranes if necessary.

Stuffing and Baking

  1. 4

    Stuff the Peppadews

Using a small spoon or piping bag, fill each peppadew with the crab and cheese mixture until they are generously filled.

  2. 5

    Bake the Stuffed Peppadews

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the stuffed peppadews on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the filling is heated through and slightly golden.

Finishing Touch

  1. 6

    Drizzle with Balsamic Glaze

Once out of the oven, drizzle the stuffed peppadews with balsamic glaze before serving.
