1. Prepare the Herbal Base

In a medium saucepan, combine the fresh basil leaves, fresh mint leaves, water, and honey. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.

2. Steep the Herbs

Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture steep for about 15 minutes to extract the flavors of the herbs.

3. Strain the Mixture

After steeping, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl or pitcher to remove the herb leaves.

4. Add Lemon Juice

Stir in the lemon juice into the strained herbal mixture. Allow it to cool to room temperature.

5. Prepare the Glasses

In each glass, add a handful of ice cubes.

6. Combine the Mixtures

Pour about 1 cup of the herbal base mixture into each glass over the ice.
