Pizza Dough

Method

Making the Dough

  1. 1

    Activate the Yeast

In a small bowl, mix warm water (about 110°F or 43°C) with sugar and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Stir until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let the Dough Rise

Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Assembling the Pizza

  1. 5

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) to ensure a crispy crust.

  2. 6

    Roll Out the Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

  3. 7

    Add the Sauce

Spread the house-made pizza sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border for the crust.

  4. 8

    Add the Toppings

Layer the sliced mushrooms, pepperoni, and crumbled Italian sausage evenly over the sauce. Sprinkle the five-blend pizza cheese on top.

  5. 9

    Bake the Pizza

Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

  6. 10

    Cool and Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot.
