Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form the beef into two equal half-pound patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef Patty

Preheat a grill or frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

Pork Belly

  1. 3

    Prepare the Pork Belly

Rub the pork belly strips with brown sugar and salt. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook the Pork Belly

Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add the pork belly strips and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until crispy and caramelized.

Buttermilk Ranch Dressing

  1. 5

    Make the Dressing

In a bowl, whisk together buttermilk, mayonnaise, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Cheese Blend

  1. 6

    Prepare the Cheese

In a bowl, mix together the cheddar, Monterey Jack, mozzarella, Parmesan, and Gorgonzola cheeses. Set aside.

Burger Assembly

  1. 7

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each potato bun, place a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato. Add the cooked beef patty, followed by the crispy pork belly. Generously drizzle the buttermilk ranch dressing over the top and finish with a handful of the cheese blend. Top with the other half of the potato bun.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve the Half-A-Hill Burger immediately with your choice of sides.
