Method
Dip Preparation
- 1
Mix Base Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Use a hand mixer or spoon to blend until smooth and creamy.
- 2
Combine Crab and Seasonings
Add the crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to the mixture. Stir gently until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- 3
Transfer and Garnish
Transfer the dip mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly across the bottom. You can sprinkle additional green onions on top for garnish if desired.
- 4
Bake Dip
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the dip for 20-25 minutes, or until it is hot and bubbly.
Wonton Chips Preparation
- 5
Heat Oil
While the dip is baking, prepare the wonton chips. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium-high heat.
- 6
Fry Wonton Wrappers
Carefully place wonton wrappers in the hot oil, frying them until they turn golden brown and crispy, about 1-2 minutes per side. Do not overcrowd the pan.
- 7
Drain and Season Chips
Once fried, remove the wonton chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with a little salt if desired.
