Method

Tuna Marinade

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, and honey. Whisk together until well mixed.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Ahi Tuna

Cut the ahi tuna into small cubes and add it to the marinade. Toss gently to coat the tuna evenly. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Sriracha Aioli

  1. 3

    Make the Sriracha Aioli

In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lime juice. Mix until the ingredients are well combined and smooth. Set aside in the refrigerator.

Nachos Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare the Wontons

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut wonton wrappers into triangles and arrange them on a baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes until they are golden and crispy.

  2. 5

    Prepare the Avocado

While the wontons are baking, slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Cut the avocado into small cubes.

  3. 6

    Assemble the Nachos

Once the wontons are baked, start layering them on a serving platter. Top with marinated ahi tuna, diced avocado, drizzles of Japanese BBQ sauce, and sriracha aioli.

  4. 7

    Garnish

Sprinkle chopped cilantro, sliced green onions, and sesame seeds over the top of the nachos for garnish. Serve immediately.
