Preparation Instructions
- 1
Marinate the Tuna
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Place the tuna steak in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Prepare the Spicy Mayonnaise
In another bowl, combine red miso paste, mayonnaise, and sriracha sauce. Mix well until smooth and set aside.
- 3
Cook the Edamame
Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Add the shelled edamame and cook for about 3-5 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
- 4
Sear the Tuna
Heat a skillet over high heat. Remove the tuna from the marinade and sear it for about 1-2 minutes on each side until the outside is browned but the inside remains rare. Remove from heat and let it rest.
- 5
Slice and Serve
Slice the tuna steak thinly against the grain. Arrange on a plate with edamame, drizzle with spicy mayonnaise, and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
