Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Candied Bacon

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the bacon strips on the sheet and sprinkle brown sugar over each strip. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until crispy and caramelized. Remove from oven and let cool before chopping into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Make the Blackberry-Sriracha BBQ Sauce

In a small saucepan, combine blackberries, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and smoked paprika. Cook over medium heat until the blackberries break down and the sauce thickens, about 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

Season the chicken wings with salt and black pepper. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Smoke the wings for about 1.5 to 2 hours or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

  4. 4

    Glaze the Wings

During the last 15 minutes of smoking, brush the wings generously with the blackberry-sriracha BBQ sauce.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the wings from the smoker and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with candied bacon pieces and serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
