Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Beef
Wrap the beef tenderloin tightly in plastic wrap and freeze for about 1-2 hours until firm. This makes it easier to slice thinly.
- 2
Slice the Beef
Once the beef is firm, remove it from the freezer and unwrap. Using a sharp knife, slice the beef as thinly as possible. Arrange the slices on a large serving plate in an overlapping pattern.
- 3
Add Seasoning
Drizzle the olive oil over the beef slices. Sprinkle with lemon zest, salt, and black pepper to taste.
- 4
Garnish
Scatter the capers over the beef, followed by the arugula and shaved Parmesan cheese.
- 5
Serve
Serve immediately with crostini on the side.
