French Onion Recipe
Our recipe starts with sautéed onions in a rich beef broth. We add homemade croutons and top it with melted Swiss, provolone and fresh parmesan cheese.

Add Broth
Once the onions are caramelized, add the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. If desired, add fresh thyme for extra flavor.

Prepare for Baking
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Ladle the soup into oven-safe bowls. Top each bowl with a generous amount of homemade croutons.

Cheese Topping
Mix the Swiss, provolone, and parmesan cheese together. Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the croutons in each bowl.

Place the bowls on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
