Pork Loin

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Rub the pork tenderloin with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  2. 2

    Grill the Pork

Place the pork tenderloin on the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Make the Teriyaki BBQ Sauce

In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

  4. 4

    Thicken the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Slowly add the slurry to the simmering sauce, stirring constantly until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the rested pork tenderloin into medallions. Place the medallions on the bottom half of each Kaiser roll, drizzle with teriyaki BBQ sauce, and top with the other half of the roll.
