Cajun Chicken Poppers Recipe
If you’re a fan of poppers…we make ours from scratch with authentic Mexican jalapeño peppers, specially seasoned cream cheese and Cajun chicken. Crispy fried in spicy breading and served with cool Creole mayonnaise dipping sauce.

Preparation Steps

Prepare the Chicken
Cook the chicken breast in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, then shred it and mix with cajun seasoning.

Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with shredded chicken and additional cajun seasoning to taste.

Prepare the Peppers
Slice the jalapeño peppers in half and remove the seeds. Stuff each half with the cream cheese and chicken mixture.

Fry the Poppers
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the poppers in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Dipping Sauce
In a small bowl, mix Creole mayonnaise with hot sauce to taste.

Serve
Serve the Cajun chicken poppers hot with the Creole mayonnaise dipping sauce on the side.
