Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Start by grinding the chuck beef in-house or using freshly ground beef from your butcher. Form the ground beef into 8 oz. patties, ensuring they are evenly shaped.

  2. 2

    Season the Patties

Sprinkle the patties with salt and black pepper on both sides to enhance the flavor.

  3. 3

    Cook the Burgers

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time to achieve your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Buns

While the burgers are cooking, slice the potato rolls in half. Optionally, you can lightly toast them on the grill or in a toaster.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Once cooked, place the burger patties on the bottom half of the potato rolls. Top with lettuce, slices of tomato, onion, and pickles. Place the top half of the roll over the toppings.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the burgers immediately with your choice of sides.
