Ingredients for Bar-B-Q Baby Back Ribs

Method

Directions for Bar-B-Q Baby Back Ribs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Dry Rub

In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Rub the Ribs

Generously apply the dry rub all over the ribs, making sure to cover both sides. Let the ribs sit for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight in the refrigerator.

  4. 4

    Slow Cook the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil and cover with another piece of foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrots, mayonnaise, and apple cider vinegar. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to serve.

  6. 6

    Fry the French Fries

While the ribs are cooking, prepare the french fries according to package instructions or fry them until golden brown and crispy.

  7. 7

    Finish the Ribs

Once the ribs are cooked, remove them from the oven and brush with Bar-B-Q sauce. Broil for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce is caramelized.

  8. 8

    Serve

Slice the ribs into individual pieces and serve with crispy french fries and slaw on the side. Enjoy!
