Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Clams

Rinse the clams under cold water to remove any sand or grit. Soak them in cold water for about 30 minutes to help purge any remaining sand.

2

Sauté the Garlic

In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.

3

Add Clams and Seasoning

Add the rinsed clams to the pot along with the red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.

4

Steam the Clams

Cover the pot and steam the clams for about 5-7 minutes, or until all the clams have opened. Discard any clams that remain closed.

5

Finish and Serve

Remove the pot from heat. Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley. Serve the clams warm with crusty bread to soak up the delicious broth.
