Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Create a well in the center and crack the eggs into the well. Add the water and mix until a dough forms. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Filling Preparation

  1. 2

    Prepare the Filling

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned. Drain excess fat. In a bowl, combine the cooked meat with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and chopped parsley. Mix well and set aside to cool.

Ravioli Assembly

  1. 3

    Assemble the Ravioli

Roll out the rested dough on a floured surface until thin. Cut into squares (about 2 inches). Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each square. Fold the dough over and pinch the edges to seal. Ensure no air is trapped inside. Repeat until all dough and filling are used.

Breading

  1. 4

    Prepare for Breading

In a bowl, beat the eggs with milk. In another bowl, place the breadcrumbs. Dip each ravioli first in the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs, ensuring they are well covered.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Fry the Ravioli

In a deep pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until hot. Carefully place the breaded ravioli in the oil, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes). Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the toasted ravioli hot with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
