Marinating Chicken

Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano.

Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it's evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F).

Slice the Chicken
Once rested, slice the grilled chicken into strips.
Assembling the Salad

Prepare the Salad Base
In a large salad bowl, add the chopped romaine lettuce and halved cherry tomatoes.

Add Chicken and Almonds
Top the salad with the sliced grilled chicken and slivered almonds.

Garnish and Serve
Serve the salad with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
