Measure Coffee Grounds
While the water is heating, measure out 0.5 cups of ground coffee beans.

Combine Coffee and Water
Once the water has boiled, remove it from heat. In a coffee maker or French press, add the ground coffee and then pour the hot water over it.

Allow the coffee to steep for about 4-5 minutes. If using a French press, press down the plunger slowly to separate the grounds from the liquid.
