Method
Prepare the Chicken
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breast and coat well. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken breast for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Top with mozzarella cheese during the last minute of cooking to let it melt.
Prepare the Bacon and Toppings
- 3
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
- 4
Prepare the Toppings
Slice the tomato and wash the lettuce leaf. Set aside.
Fry the French Fries
- 5
Cook the Fries
Preheat oven according to package instructions for the frozen French fries. Toss fries in olive oil and salt, then spread evenly on a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Assemble the Chicken Club
- 6
Build the Sandwich
Once the chicken, bacon, and fries are ready, assemble the sandwich by placing the grilled chicken with melted mozzarella on a plate. Layer with bacon, tomato slice, and lettuce. Serve with a side of French fries.
