Prepare the Batter
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk together until well mixed.

Combine Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Mix Together
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. The batter may be slightly lumpy; do not overmix.

Cook the Pancakes
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Serve
Serve warm with maple syrup or Jamaica syrup and a dollop of whipped butter.
