Prepare Strawberry Puree
In a blender, combine the fresh strawberries and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.

Mix Ingredients
In a large pitcher, combine the strawberry puree, fresh lemon juice, sugar, and the remaining 3 cups of water. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved.

Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the strawberry lemonade over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.
