Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Spaghetti

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Bacon and Mushrooms

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add Garlic

Mince the garlic cloves and add to the skillet. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

  4. 4

    Brown the Butter

In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Continue cooking until the butter turns golden brown and develops a nutty aroma, about 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked spaghetti, crispy bacon, and browned butter to the skillet with the garlic and mushrooms. Toss everything together, adding salt and black pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the spaghetti, generously sprinkle with grated mizithra cheese, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
