Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise, and place it on a baking sheet, cut side up.

  3. 3

    Spread the Garlic Butter

Generously spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the bread.

  4. 4

    Add the Cheeses

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan, shredded Mozzarella, and Fontina cheese evenly over the buttered bread.

  5. 5

    Toast the Bread

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, then cut into slices and serve warm with a side of Marinara Sauce for dipping.
