Method

Prepare Chicken

1

Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, soak the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.

2

Bread the Chicken

Mix flour, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating.

Fry Chicken

3

Heat Oil

In a deep skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

4

Fry Chicken

Fry the chicken breasts for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Place on a wire rack to drain.

Make Nashville Hot Sauce

5

Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, mix together cayenne pepper, brown sugar, oil from frying, garlic powder, and salt to create the hot sauce.

Assemble Sandwich

6

Add Sauce

Brush the hot sauce generously over the fried chicken.

7

Build Sandwich

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the brioche bun. Add lettuce, then the hot chicken, followed by pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

Prepare Fries

8

Cook Fries

Cook frozen fries according to package instructions. Season with salt to taste.
