Bread Pudding
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Tear the stale bread into small pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- 2
- 3
Combine and Soak
Pour the custard mixture over the torn bread and let it soak for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure all the bread absorbs the liquid.
- 4
Bake
Transfer the soaked bread mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted comes out clean.
- 5
Make the Hazelnut Glaze
While the bread pudding is baking, combine 1 cup of hazelnut spread with 2 tablespoons of milk in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth and warm.
- 6
Serve
Once the bread pudding is done, let it cool slightly before serving. Drizzle the hazelnut glaze on top and serve with whipped cream.
