Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Onion Straws

Slice the onion into thin rings. In the same skillet with leftover bacon fat, fry the onion rings until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Make the Patty

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form into 4 equal patties.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach the desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Add Blue Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place blue cheese on top of each patty to melt.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Burger

Place the cooked patty on the bottom half of the bun. Top with crispy bacon and onion straws. Cover with the top half of the bun.
