Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rice

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of wild rice and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 45-50 minutes, or until the rice is tender. Fluff with a fork and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Dill Cream Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup of sour cream, 2 tablespoons of chopped dill, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Stir until well combined. Add salt to taste and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Salmon

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the salmon fillet with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper. Grill the salmon for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily with a fork and has a nice char.

  4. 4

    Serve

Place a serving of wild rice on a plate, top with the grilled salmon, and drizzle the house-made dill cream sauce over the salmon. Serve with your choice of side.
