Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Clean the shrimp, crab, and mussels thoroughly. Halve the red potatoes and cut the corn into thirds. Mince the garlic cloves and set aside.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Boil the Potatoes and Corn

In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add 2 tablespoons of salt and the halved red potatoes. Boil for about 10 minutes, then add the corn pieces and continue boiling for another 5 minutes.

  2. 3

    Add the Seafood

After 5 minutes, add the shrimp, crab legs, and mussels to the pot along with the Old Bay seasoning, minced garlic, and the halved lemon. Boil everything together for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the shrimp is pink and the mussels have opened.

  3. 4

    Finish and Drain

Once cooked, carefully drain the contents of the pot into a colander. Allow to cool slightly.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Seafood Boil

Transfer the seafood and vegetables onto a large serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges, if desired. Serve immediately while hot.
