1. Prepare the Shrimp
In a large bowl, combine the peeled and deveined shrimp with Cajun seasoning. Toss well to ensure all the shrimp are coated evenly with the seasoning.
2. Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Allow the oil to get hot but not smoking.
3. Cook the Garlic
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
4. Cook the Shrimp
Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and start to curl, then flip them over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until fully cooked.
5. Add Lemon Juice
Once the shrimp are cooked, squeeze the juice of one whole lemon over the shrimp and stir to combine.
6. Garnish and Serve
Remove the skillet from heat. Garnish the shrimp with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
