Fries
Crab Topping
Method
Prepare Fries
- 1
Cook the Fries
Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the frozen fries package. Spread the crinkle cut fries evenly on a baking sheet and bake for the recommended time until golden and crispy.
- 2
Fry the Fries (Optional)
If frying, heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 175°C (350°F). Carefully add the crinkle cut fries in batches and fry until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Prepare Crab Topping
- 3
Make Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
- 4
Mix Crab Topping
In a mixing bowl, combine the fresh lump crab meat, garlic butter, lemon juice, chopped parsley, and house seasoning blend. Gently toss to combine without breaking up the crab meat too much.
Assemble Crab Fries
- 5
Combine and Serve
Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven or fryer and place them on a serving platter. Top the fries generously with the crab mixture, ensuring each fry is adorned with the delicious crab topping. Serve immediately while hot.
