Method

Prepare the Lobster

  1. 1

    Clean and Prepare Lobster Tails

Using kitchen shears, carefully cut down the top of the lobster tail shell, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the shell apart to expose the meat without completely removing it.

  2. 2

    Season the Lobster

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat.

Cook the Lobster

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

  2. 4

    Grill the Lobster Tails

Place the lobster tails meat-side down on the grill. Close the lid and grill for approximately 5-7 minutes. Flip the tails over and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

Prepare the Drawn Butter

  1. 5

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in lemon juice. Optionally, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley for added flavor.

Serve

  1. 6

    Plate and Serve

Carefully remove the lobster tails from the grill. Serve immediately with the drawn butter on the side for dipping.
