Method
Preparation Directions
- 1
Prepare the Crab Dip
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Use an electric mixer or a whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.
- 2
Add Crab and Seasoning
Fold in the crab meat gently to avoid breaking it apart. Then add the chopped green onions, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- 3
Chill the Dip
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the crab dip for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 4
Prepare the Baguette
While the dip is chilling, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet.
- 5
Toast the Baguette
Toast the baguette slices in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
