Method

Cook Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil Water

Fill a large pot with water, add a generous amount of salt, and bring it to a rolling boil.

  2. 2

    Cook Pasta

Add the penne pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare Seafood

  1. 3

    Sauté Shrimp and Scallops

In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add the shrimp and scallops. Cook for 3-4 minutes until shrimp are pink and scallops are opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Make Cajun Sauce

  1. 4

    Sauté Garlic

In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 5

    Add Cajun Seasoning

Stir in the Cajun seasoning, mixing well with the garlic.

  3. 6

    Add Cream and Cheese

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

  4. 7

    Season

Add salt and black pepper to taste.

Add the cooked pasta and sautéed seafood back into the skillet with the sauce. Toss to combine everything thoroughly.
