Prepare the Pulled Pork
If you don't have pre-made pulled pork, cook pork shoulder in a slow cooker with your favorite spices on low for 8 hours. Shred the pork once cooked.

Assemble the Sandwich
Take a bun and layer 1/2 cup of pulled pork on the bottom half. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of queso fresco over the pulled pork.

Add Toppings
Top with a tablespoon of pickled jalapenos and pour 1/4 cup of green chili gravy over it.

Finish the Sandwich
Place the top half of the bun on the sandwich and press down gently. Repeat for the remaining buns.

Serve
Serve the Durango Sandwich warm with extra green chili gravy on the side if desired.
