Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Soak the Potatoes

Place the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for at least 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch and makes the fries crispier.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  4. 4

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain the soaked potatoes and pat them dry with a paper towel. Fry them in batches for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, drizzle with truffle oil and sprinkle with salt. Toss to coat evenly.

  6. 6

    Add Cheese and Parsley

Grate the Parmesan cheese over the fries and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
