Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the mushrooms

In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until mushrooms are tender and golden brown. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the burgers

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form into two patties. In the same skillet used for the mushrooms, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach desired doneness. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  3. 3

    Assemble the burgers

Toast the burger buns if desired. On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a cooked patty with melted cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and a slice of tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
