Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Salad Base
Start by washing and drying the mixed greens. Place them in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Slice the Vegetables
Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Cut it into cubes. Halve the cherry tomatoes, slice the red onion thinly, dice the red bell pepper, and chop the celery into small pieces.
- 3
Cook the Tuna
Season the seared tuna steak with a pinch of salt and pepper. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and sear the tuna for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until cooked to your liking. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before slicing it thinly.
- 4
Combine Ingredients
Add the diced avocado, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, diced red bell pepper, and chopped celery to the bowl with mixed greens. Gently toss the ingredients together.
- 5
Add Tuna
Place the sliced seared tuna on top of the salad.
Dressing Preparation
- 6
Make the Mango Sriracha Dressing
In a blender, combine the diced ripe mango, Sriracha sauce, olive oil, lime juice, honey, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
