Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Assemble the Sandwiches
Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Spread a layer of pesto on the bottom half of each roll. On top of the pesto, layer sliced ham evenly, followed by a generous amount of shredded gouda cheese, and then the onion rings.

Top the Sandwiches
Spread garlic aioli on the cut side of the top halves of the rolls. Place the top halves over the assembled sandwiches.

Bake the Sandwiches
Arrange the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Cut each sandwich in half and serve warm.
