Crawfish Monica

Method

Crawfish Monica

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Sauce

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Add Crawfish

Stir in the crawfish tails and cook for 3-4 minutes until heated through.

  4. 4

    Make Cream Sauce

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat well with the sauce. Stir in the chopped green onions and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and combined.

Biscuits

  1. 6

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).

  2. 7

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. 8

    Cut in Butter

Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  4. 9

    Add Milk

Stir in the milk until just combined. Do not overmix.

  5. 10

    Shape and Bake Biscuits

Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead gently, and pat into a 1-inch thick round. Cut out biscuits with a biscuit cutter or glass and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
