Method
Preparation
Begin by preparing the chicken breast. Pat them dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear on the grill.
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well to form a marinade.
Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
Grilling
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F or 190°C to 230°C).
Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the leftover marinade.
Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side, without moving them, until grill marks appear.
Flip the chicken breasts and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes on the other side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
