Oysters

Method

Preparing the Oysters

1

Cleaning the Oysters

Rinse the fresh oysters under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Use a brush if necessary to clean the shells thoroughly.

2

Steaming the Oysters

Fill a pot with about 2 inches of water and bring to a boil. Place a steaming basket or rack in the pot. Once the water is boiling, carefully place the cleaned oysters in the steaming basket. Cover the pot and steam for about 5-7 minutes until the oysters are open. Discard any oysters that do not open.

Applying Seasoning

3

Choosing the Seasoning

Once the oysters are steamed, you can choose your preferred seasoning. For a burst of flavor, sprinkle each oyster with Lemon Pepper or Cajun seasoning as desired.

4

Using Garlic Butter

For a rich and savory taste, melt garlic butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Drizzle the melted garlic butter over the steamed oysters before serving.

5

Serving with Juicy Special Seasoning

If opting for Juicy Special seasoning, sprinkle it generously over the oysters for a unique flavor experience.

Serving

6

Plating the Oysters

Arrange the steamed oysters on a serving plate. Garnish with lemon wedges for an extra zesty touch.

7

Enjoying the Dish

Serve the oysters immediately while they are still warm, allowing guests to enjoy them with their choice of seasoning.
