Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Seafood

Rinse the shrimp, crab legs, mussels, and clams under cold running water to clean them thoroughly. Set aside in a bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and halve the baby potatoes. Cut the corn cobs into halves. Mince the garlic cloves and set all the vegetables aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Boil the Potatoes

In a large pot, fill with water (about 4 quarts) and add the salt and Old Bay seasoning. Bring the water to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, add the halved baby potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.

  2. 4

    Add Corn and Garlic

After 10 minutes, add the corn halves and minced garlic to the pot. Cook for another 5 minutes.

  3. 5

    Add Seafood

Gently add the shrimp, crab legs, mussels, and clams to the pot. Stir gently and let everything cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and the mussels and clams have opened.

  4. 6

    Drain and Serve

Once cooked, carefully drain the pot using a colander. Transfer the seafood and vegetables to a large serving platter. Drizzle melted butter over the seafood boil and garnish with lemon wedges.
